Joseph’s journey as a quantity surveyor started with a main contractor, where he learned the ins and outs of every project phase. From estimating costs and negotiating contracts, to managing risks and delivering results, he always had to be on top of his game. He gained valuable experience in working with different stakeholders, such as clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. He also developed skills in using various software tools, such as Bluebeam, Coins, and Excel.

He then expanded his horizons by working as a consultant for other main contractors, as well as a project quantity surveyor for property developers. This gave him a deeper understanding of the different needs and expectations of both parties to the construction contract, and equipped him with a unique perspective to overcome any challenge. He was involved in projects of various sizes and complexities, from luxury residential homes and apartments, to educational facilities and healthcare practices. He also improved his communication and leadership skills, as he coordinated with multiple teams and resolved issues effectively.

Joseph is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) , two prestigious professional bodies that promote high standards of practice and ethics in the fields of surveying and dispute resolution.
